He began his education as an artist at the IED Madrid, the European Institute of Design. Later, he finished his studies at the Professional Jeweler Institute in Barajas, Madrid.

Founder in 2012 of the jewelry brand 'Vacía la Nevera', he was always interested in visual arts and movie making.

In 2013 he created his first dance video to present the jewelry collection 'AMORE NAPOLETANO'.

In 2015 he produced the short movie 'HECHIZO' (THE SPELL) to present his new jewelry collection.

In 2017 he will present his last and most personal and intimate work. The fashion film 'EN BLANCO' (IN WHITE) will premiere in October 2017 to present his new Jewelry colection. You can watch the trailere here.

PHILOSOPHY

In ‘Vacia la Nevera’ there is the will to shape feelings, dreams, desires, experiences, translating them in small sculptures as rings, necklaces, earrings … that people can carry. Each piece holds little stories that follow you in your every day life.

Rubén Morales works the metal, creating with it not only pieces of jewelry but real carriers of feelings and dreams where he combines materials like yarn, fabric or wood. Each of his designs have been influenced by the travels he made, the different cultures he met, by the people and Art.

The jewelry brand ‘Vacia la Nevera’ (which means ‘Empty the fridge’) is dedicated to all people who love supplements and sometimes, by treating themselves, have “the Fridge…Empty”.
